Big Bad Boo Studios Animates Jimmy Vestvood’s Opening Titles

Vancouver, Canada October 15, 2014 – Big Bad Boo Studios announced today that they are partnering with comedian Maz Jobrani and Perfect Nose Productions to produce the opening titles of the new comedy feature film, Jimmy Vestvood Amerikan Hero.

Jimmy Vestvood Amerikan Hero is Maz Jobrani’s new film, starring himself as Jimmy Vestvood, a character he has been working on for a number of years. The movie is about an Iranian immigrant who wins the Green Card lottery and moves to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming an “American hero.” All Jimmy wants is to be like Steve McQueen, his idol cop in the movie Bullitt, but the best job he can get is as a security guard at a Persian grocery store.

The main title sequence for the movie is an animated piece, which will introduce the cast to the audience in a fun way. Shabnam Rezaei, President of Big Bad Boo Studios said, “We are excited to work with Maz and his team again. Maz has done so many great roles for us in a lot of our shows including Mixed Nutz and 1001 Nights. This will be another joint project which will not only be funny but start conversation about stereotypes.”

The movie presents Middle Easterners as American heroes in a comedy setting. As Jobrani said, “after all, you don’t have to be American to be an American hero!” The film is scheduled to release in 2015.
