Media is an excellent educational tool to teach children numeracy, literacy and pro-social skills. While children can learn these skills directly from watching educational cartoons, research has shown that learning is enhanced when the lessons from the shows are discussed in a structured environment as well. We have created curricula, which supplement educational shows such as 1001 Nights, and Lili and Lola, to further develop civic values, resilience and social emotional skills in children. The curricula can be used in a variety of educational spaces, such as schools or after school programs. Our programs reach over half a million children around the world through schools, ministries of education and non-profit partners such as Save the Children and UNICEF.
